Latest US weather station observation

api-staging.eckari.com

Datatest

Give it a coordinate in the United States and it returns the most recent surface observation from the nearest National Weather Service station, with the station's identity, when the reading was taken, its age in seconds and a flag saying whether it is stale. Stations report roughly every twenty to sixty minutes, so this is the last measurement rather than a live reading. Readings that fail the station's own quality control come back empty instead of wrong.

Active US weather warnings for a place

api-staging.eckari.com

Datatest

Give it a United States coordinate, a two-letter state or a marine area code and it returns the National Weather Service watches, warnings and advisories in force there, each with the event, how severe, certain and urgent it is, a headline, the areas and zones affected, and its start and end times in UTC. It is read at the moment you ask, so an empty list means nothing is active. The five newest come back by default, and asking for full detail adds the service's own narrative.

UK company search by name or keyword

api-staging.eckari.com

Search & retrievaltest

Search the UK Companies House register by name or keyword and it returns the companies that match. Each match carries the company number, the register's status and a plain active-or-not flag, the company type, the dates it was incorporated and, where it applies, ceased, and the register's one-line address. The order is the register's own and is reported as a position, not a relevance score, so start here when all you have is a name and then use the company number for anything per-company.
