Gives you Base's current gas fee, recent percentiles, and a forecast range for timing a transaction.
It returns read-only Base L2 gas conditions computed directly from chain data: the current base fee, recent fee percentiles, realized volatility, congestion state, and an 80% forecast range for a horizon you choose. It is supporting context for timing a transaction, not a trade instruction, and every figure is reproducible from public Base RPC data.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to know the current gas fee on Base along with recent context
For example: Call it and read the base fee and recent percentiles.
When: I want to know if the network is congested right now
For example: Read the congestion state field.
When: I need a forecast range to plan a transaction, not just the current fee
For example: Set a horizon and read the 80% forecast range.
When: I want to check the numbers myself
