Reproducible digest for an evidence bundle

Send a bundle of evidence as JSON and it puts that JSON into one fixed arrangement, then returns a SHA-256 digest of it: a short fingerprint anybody else can work out again from the same bundle. It takes no view on whether anything in the bundle is true, and only fixes what the bundle was. The bundle has to stay inside a size limit the seller sets.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: You need a fingerprint of an evidence bundle that somebody else can reproduce
For example: Digest the bundle and publish the fingerprint alongside it.
When: You want to show a bundle has not changed since you handled it
For example: Digest it now, keep the fingerprint, and digest it again later to compare the two.
