Gives you the current gas price on Base, read live via public RPC.
It returns the current gas price on Base, read directly and live from a public RPC endpoint. It needs no API key and does not go through an aggregator. It takes no parameters.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need the current Base gas price without running my own node
For example: Call it and read the gas price.
When: I want a gas price read straight from RPC, not aggregated or cached
For example: Rely on this instead of an aggregator-based gas API.
