It returns batch spot prices for up to 20 assets in a single call, keyed by symbol. Each asset comes with its price, 24-hour change, and volume. It is a cheaper way to price a basket or portfolio than calling once per asset.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need prices for a whole basket of assets at once
For example: Pass up to 20 symbols in one call instead of calling per asset.
When: I need to check how each asset in a portfolio moved today
For example: Read the 24h change field for each symbol.
When: I need trading volume alongside price for several assets
For example: Read the volume field for each symbol.
