It returns the top cryptocurrencies by market cap, up to 50, each with its rank, price, 24-hour change, volume, and market cap in USD. It is sourced from CoinGecko's free API and each response is timestamped.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need the current top cryptocurrencies ranked by market cap
For example: Call it and read the ranked list.
When: I need more or fewer than the default 10 results
For example: Set the limit up to 50.
When: I need to know how a token moved in the last day
For example: Read the 24-hour change field for the token.
