Gives you a crypto asset's price, 24-hour stats, and market cap in one call.
It returns structured live market data for about 50 top crypto assets in one JSON call: spot price plus 24-hour open, high, low, volume, and change, sourced from Coinbase Exchange, along with market cap, rank, and circulating, total, and max supply, sourced from CoinGecko. You can quote it in US dollars, euros, or British pounds, and a call with no symbol defaults to Bitcoin. Results are cached for 60 seconds.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need a crypto asset's current price and 24-hour trading range
For example: Request its symbol to get price plus 24h open, high, low, and volume.
When: I need a coin's market cap and rank
For example: Read the market cap and rank fields in the response.
When: I need supply figures for a token
For example: Read the circulating, total, and max supply fields.
When: I need the price quoted in euros or pounds instead of dollars
For example: Set the quote currency on the request.
