Gives you live gas prices and fee estimates for any major EVM chain.
Returns the live gas market on a major EVM chain: the current gas price, base fee, and priority-fee percentiles in gwei. It also gives the estimated cost, in native token and USD, of a plain transfer and a typical DEX swap. It lets an agent decide whether to send a transaction now or wait for cheaper gas, and budget the fee before signing.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to know the current gas price before sending a transaction
For example: Send the chain and read the current gas price in gwei.
When: I need to estimate the USD cost of a transfer or swap before sending it
For example: Read the estimated cost fields for a transfer or a DEX swap.
When: I want to know if I should wait for cheaper gas
For example: Read the priority-fee percentiles to judge whether gas is currently high or low.
When: I need gas data for a chain other than the default
For example: Set the chain parameter to one of the supported EVM chains.
