Gives you USD prices for up to 25 crypto assets in one call.
It returns current USD prices for crypto assets, up to 25 per call: majors by ticker like BTC or ETH, and anything else by CoinGecko id or by chain plus contract address, which covers long-tail meme tokens too. Each price comes with a confidence score and a timestamp. It covers crypto only, not equities or ETFs.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need prices for several crypto assets in one call instead of many
For example: POST a symbols array with up to 25 tickers or ids.
When: I need the price of a long-tail token with no common ticker
For example: Send its chain and contract address instead of a symbol.
When: I need to know how reliable a returned price is
For example: Read the confidence field for that asset.
