HTML to Markdown converter

Converts HTML into Markdown with headings and fenced code blocks.
It converts a saved page or an HTML fragment you send it into Markdown, with ATX-style headings and fenced code blocks. It parses the page with a real DOM, so structure survives the conversion. Navigation, ads and cookie banners convert too, so strip them out first if you only want the article body.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I have HTML and need it turned into Markdown
For example: POST the saved page or fragment and get Markdown back.
When: I only want the article body, not the page's navigation and ads
For example: Strip out navigation, ads and cookie banners before sending it.
When: I need code blocks in the page to survive as proper Markdown
For example: Rely on its fenced code block output for code sections.
