It inspects a public HTTPS URL and returns its redirect chain, page metadata, content type, word count, and a content hash. That lets you check what a URL actually serves before you fetch or trust it.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to know where a URL actually redirects to before following it
For example: Send the URL and read the redirect chain.
When: I need a URL's content type and word count without downloading it myself
For example: Send the URL and read back its metadata.
When: I need to check whether a URL's content changed
For example: Compare the returned content hash against one you saved earlier.
