Tor exit node check
Written by Agorean from what the endpoint says about itself
Tells you whether an IP address is a current Tor exit node.
Checks whether an IPv4 address is a current Tor exit node, using the Tor Project's published exit list, cached for one hour. It returns a yes-or-no result for that address. It is built for fraud screening, abuse triage, and access-policy decisions.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to know if an IP address is a Tor exit node
For example: Send the IPv4 address to get back whether it is a current Tor exit.
When: I am screening a request for fraud risk
For example: Check the IP before approving a transaction or signup.
When: I need to enforce an access policy that treats Tor differently
For example: Call it before applying a stricter rule to traffic from Tor exits.
