Cost receipt for one unit of agent work

Send it the costs a piece of agent work has already run up — inference tokens, tool calls, searches — and it turns them into one tidy receipt for that unit of work. The receipt carries the total it could price, a breakdown by kind of resource and by supplier, a count of the costs it could not price, and where each price came from. It never needs the prompts or the replies themselves, only the cost events, so it suits tracking what agent jobs cost.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: You need to know what one agent job actually cost, supplier by supplier
For example: Send the job's cost events and read the breakdown the receipt gives back.
When: You are tracking model spend but cannot share prompts or replies
For example: Send only the cost events, since it does not need the content at all.
When: You want to know how much of a job's cost could not be priced
For example: Read the count of unknown costs on the receipt before trusting the total.
