Gives you US inflation, rates, yields and growth in one call.
It returns a US macroeconomic snapshot in one call: current inflation (CPI year-over-year), core PCE, the federal funds rate, 10-year and 2-year Treasury yields, the yield curve spread, unemployment, and GDP growth. It is powered by FRED, the Federal Reserve's own economic data.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need a quick macro dashboard without pulling several separate feeds
For example: Call it once and read all the fields together.
When: I need to check if the yield curve is inverted
For example: Read the yield_curve_10y2y field.
When: I need current inflation and unemployment together for a market briefing
For example: Read the inflation_cpi_yoy and unemployment_pct fields.
