It tracks an agent's cumulative spend against a budget cap you set, and blocks further spending once that cap is reached. It is part of a payment-trust suite for AI agents paying in USDC on Base. The source does not say exactly how spend is reported or how a block is enforced.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to stop an agent from spending past a set budget
For example: Register its budget cap and let it block overspend automatically.
When: I need to see how much an agent has spent so far against its cap
For example: Check its cumulative spend before authorizing another payment.
