Shows which companies just received a federal subaward, newest first.
A bulk feed of federal subawards from USAspending's prime-to-sub cascade, newest first by action date: the sub-recipient, the prime, the awarding agency, a banded amount, NAICS code, and date. A new_only filter isolates first-time subawardees with no prime award on record, a signal of new activity. Rows are flat and cursor-paginated up to 1000 per page, filterable by state, NAICS, agency, minimum amount, or a since date. Observational public records as filed.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to know which companies just received a federal subaward
For example: Call it with a since date to get the newest subawards first.
When: I want to spot companies getting government work for the first time
For example: Set new_only=true to isolate first-time subawardees.
When: I need subawards in a specific state or industry
For example: Filter by state or NAICS code to narrow the feed.
When: I need to page through a large result set
For example: Use the next_cursor from one page as the cursor for the next.
When: I only care about subawards above a certain size
For example: Set min_amount to filter out smaller subawards.
