Resolves a company's LEI, SEC CIK, and ticker from any one of them.
Resolves a legal entity across identifier systems: give it a name, LEI, CIK, or ticker, and it returns the others, plus jurisdiction and a canonical entity name. It composes public SEC ticker-exchange data with GLEIF's LEI data, joining a legal entity to its SEC filer identity and back, with a supplied LEI treated as authoritative. It reports the status of each source so a partial resolve is explicit, and it stays at the legal-entity layer, not securities identifiers like FIGI or ISIN.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I have a company name and need its LEI or SEC CIK
For example: Send the name to get back its LEI, CIK, and ticker.
When: I have a ticker and need the company's LEI
For example: Send the ticker to get the matching LEI and canonical entity name.
When: I need to know if a resolve is fully or only partially confirmed
For example: Check the per-source status field before trusting the match.
When: I have an LEI and need the company's SEC filer identity
For example: Send the LEI, which is treated as authoritative, to get the CIK and ticker.
