It returns a short list of transit provider matches for a location and a transport type, including each provider's name, id, and transportation modes. It is meant to identify rail, metro, bus, or ferry options before booking.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to know what rail, metro, bus, or ferry providers serve a location
For example: Send the location and transport type and read the matching providers.
When: I need a provider's id before booking through another service
For example: Read the provider_id field for that match.
When: I need to know which transportation modes a provider offers
For example: Read the transportation field for that provider.
