It checks whether a public source page you supply currently supports one atomic factual claim. It returns supported, contradicted, or insufficient-evidence, along with source snippets. It can also return explicit blocked, unreachable, or unsupported states when the page cannot be checked. It is not a general fact checker or a web search tool.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I have a claim and a source page and need to know if the page backs it up
For example: Send the claim and the page URL and read the supported/contradicted/insufficient-evidence result.
When: I need source snippets as evidence, not just a yes or no
For example: Read the source snippets returned alongside the verdict.
When: I need to know when a page cannot be checked at all
For example: Check for the blocked, unreachable, or unsupported states in the response.
