It returns a snapshot of China's four major A-share indices: the Shanghai Composite, the Shenzhen Component, ChiNext, and the CSI 300. Each one includes its price, change, percent change, day range, and volume.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need a quick read on the Chinese stock market
For example: Call it for all four indices at once.
When: I need to know how much an index moved today
For example: Read the change and percent change fields.
When: I need the day's trading range for an index
For example: Read the day range field.
