Gives you a historical price time series for up to 20 coins, by ticker, CoinGecko id, or chain address.
It returns a historical price time series for up to 20 coins at once, identified by ticker symbol, CoinGecko id, or a chain-and-address pair. You can select the span, meaning the number of points, and the period, such as 1 day, 1 hour, or 1 week. It is meant for charting, backtesting, and trend analysis, and pairs with a separate live spot-price endpoint. Data is sourced from DefiLlama.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need a price chart for a token over time, not just its current price
For example: Send the ticker or address and read the dated price array.
When: I need history for several coins in one call
For example: Send up to 20 identifiers at once.
When: I need finer or coarser granularity for backtesting
