Gives you historical OHLC price candles for a crypto asset.
It returns historical price candles, open, high, low, and close, for a coin you specify by id or ticker, over a window of 1, 7, 14, 30, 90, 180, or 365 days. Each candle carries an ISO timestamp. It is meant for charting, technical analysis, backtesting, and trend-detection agents.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need historical price data to chart a coin
For example: Send the coin and a window, and read the OHLC candles.
When: I need data for backtesting a trading strategy
For example: Pull the longest window, 365 days, for your backtest.
When: I need to detect a trend over the last month
For example: Request the 30-day window and compare the candles.
