Checks up to 10 domains for a registration record, via RDAP.
Give it up to 10 domain names and it checks each against the official registry using RDAP, the structured replacement for WHOIS. Each comes back as registered, unregistered, or indeterminate when the registry has no RDAP for that ending. Unregistered usually means available, but reserved and premium names can also return no record, and it reports registration status only, not pricing.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to check if a batch of domain names is taken
For example: Send up to 10 domains and read each one's status.
When: I need to know a domain is truly available, not just unregistered
For example: Treat unregistered as a starting point, since reserved or premium names also show no record.
When: I need this for an extension whose registry doesn't support RDAP
For example: Expect an indeterminate result for that ending.
