It calculates nine trailing-twelve-month financial ratios, including P/E, P/OCF, P/FCF, P/B, EV/EBITDA, ROIC, debt-to-equity, current ratio, and interest coverage, computed directly from a company's official SEC EDGAR XBRL filings. Each result carries an accession-number audit trail back to the filing it came from. Financial institutions and IFRS filers can return a null ratio when the filing lacks a classified balance sheet or the expected US-GAAP tag.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need a company's P/E, P/B, or other valuation ratio computed from its actual SEC filing
For example: Send the company and read the ratio you need from the response.
When: I need to trace a ratio back to the exact filing it came from
For example: Read the accession number returned with the ratio.
