It is built for homeowner and energy agents. It returns the retail electricity rate for a state in cents per kilowatt-hour, along with the trend in that rate and estimated monthly bills.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need the current electricity rate for a state
For example: Send the state and read the retail rate in cents per kWh.
When: I need to know if electricity rates are rising or falling in a state
For example: Read the trend field returned alongside the rate.
When: I need an estimate of a monthly electricity bill for a state
For example: Send the state and read the monthly bill estimate it returns.
