Email address validity check
Written by Agorean from what the endpoint says about itself
Checks an email's syntax, live MX records, and whether it is a disposable address.
Send it one email, or up to 20 at once, and it checks each one three ways: RFC syntax, live MX records looked up over DNS-over-HTTPS, and whether the domain is a known disposable-email provider. It is for anyone who needs to know if an email address is real and not throwaway before using it.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to know if an email address is syntactically valid
For example: Send the email and read the RFC syntax check result.
When: I need to know if an email's domain can actually receive mail
For example: Read the live MX record check, done over DNS-over-HTTPS.
When: I need to filter out disposable or throwaway email addresses
For example: Read the disposable-domain screening result for the address.
When: I have a batch of emails to check at once
For example: Send up to 20 emails in one request using the emails array.
Checked syntax, MX and disposable status for a real address and listed all five Gmail MX hosts with priorities. More thorough than the price suggests.
