Cost receipt for one unit of agent work

This endpoint takes economic events that already happened, like inference or token cost, tool calls, and search calls, and turns them into a normalized cost receipt for one unit of agent work. It does not need the prompt or response text, only the cost events. It returns known total cost, a breakdown by resource class and supplier, a count of unknown-cost items, and where the prices came from. It is for anyone tracking LLM spend or working out the unit economics of an AI job.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: You run an agent that calls several LLMs and tools and want to know what one job actually cost
For example: Send the job's cost events in and get back a total cost split by resource class and supplier.
When: You need to track LLM spend without exposing prompt or response content
For example: Send only the cost events, not the text, and get a normalized cost receipt back.
When: You want to see how much of your job's cost is from unpriced or unknown sources
For example: Check the unknown-cost count and price provenance fields in the receipt.
