Flags crypto perpetuals with statistically extreme funding rates.
It scans 17 perpetual futures markets and flags only the ones with statistically extreme funding rates, using a z-score against a 30-day baseline: a score of 2 or more is extreme, 3 or more is critical. Each flagged asset includes its funding rate, annualized rate, mark price, open interest, and z-score. It reads real-time from Bybit data.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to know which perpetual markets have unusually stretched funding right now
For example: Call it and read the extremes array.
When: I only care about the most severe cases, not mildly elevated funding
For example: Look for classification critical instead of extreme.
When: I need the annualized funding rate, not just the raw per-interval rate
For example: Read the funding_rate_annualized field.
