Converts an amount between 32 fiat currencies and major cryptocurrencies, live.
It converts an amount between 32 fiat currencies, using live European Central Bank rates, and major cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, and SOL, using live Coinbase spot rates. Fiat-to-fiat, crypto-to-fiat, and crypto-to-crypto conversions all work. The response includes the converted amount, the exchange rate, the inverse rate, the rate date, and the rate source.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to convert an amount between two fiat currencies
For example: Send the two fiat currencies and the amount, and read the converted result.
When: I need to convert between a cryptocurrency and a fiat currency
For example: Send the crypto and fiat pair to convert in either direction.
When: I need to convert directly between two cryptocurrencies
For example: Send the two crypto currencies to convert crypto-to-crypto.
When: I need to know exactly which rate and date were used
For example: Read the rate date and rate source fields in the response.
