Gives you the next gotobi day and a countdown, with holiday adjustments.
It returns the next upcoming gotobi day, the Japanese date pattern used around the Tokyo fixing, adjusted for Japanese public holidays and weekend shifts. It includes today's date, the next gotobi date, and how many days until it. No public gotobi calendar exists elsewhere, since building one needs Japan's holiday law and shift rules.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to pre-position a USDJPY trade ahead of the next gotobi day
For example: Call it and read next_gotobi_date and days_until.
When: I need the gotobi date adjusted for a Japanese holiday, not the raw calendar date
For example: Rely on its holiday and weekend shift adjustment.
