It converts subtitles between SRT, WebVTT, plain text, and JSON cues. Send SRT or VTT text, which it auto-detects, or a JSON cues array of start, end, and text objects with times in milliseconds, plus the target format. It runs deterministically, on pure CPU.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I have an SRT file and need it as WebVTT or plain text
For example: Send the SRT text and set the target format to convert it.
When: I have JSON cues and need them as a subtitle file
For example: Send a JSON cues array with start, end, and text in milliseconds.
When: I don't know if my subtitle text is SRT or VTT
For example: Send it as-is and let auto-detection identify the format.
