Validates up to 500 IBANs and checks their SEPA reachability in one call.
Send up to 500 IBANs in one call and it validates each, resolving the bank name and BIC from national bank registries. It also checks SEPA reachability per scheme, including SCT, SCT Inst, SDD Core, and SDD B2B, against the EPC register. It is for checking accounts before a payment run.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to validate a batch of IBANs before running payments
For example: Send up to 500 IBANs in one call to validate them all at once.
When: I have an IBAN and need to know its bank and BIC
For example: Read the bank name and BIC resolved for each IBAN.
When: I need to know if an IBAN can receive a SEPA Instant payment
For example: Check the sct_inst field returned for that IBAN's SEPA reachability.
When: I need to know if an account supports a SEPA direct debit scheme
For example: Check the sdd_core or sdd_b2b fields for that IBAN's reachability.
