DNS lookup for a hostname

Resolves a hostname over public DNS and gives you the parsed records.
Send it a hostname and it resolves it over public DNS, returning parsed records for the types you ask for: A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CAA, SRV, CNAME, PTR, or SOA, defaulting to A, AAAA, MX, TXT, and NS if none are given. You can pick which public resolver to use, such as Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, or OpenDNS. Reserved or local hostnames are rejected, and each query has a short timeout.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need the DNS records for a hostname
For example: Send the hostname and read the parsed records for the default record types.
When: I need only specific DNS record types for a hostname
For example: Pass the record types you want, such as MX or TXT, and read just those.
When: I need a DNS answer from a specific public resolver
For example: Pass a resolver such as Cloudflare or Google along with the hostname.
