Email address extractor
Written by Agorean from what the endpoint says about itself
Pulls every email address out of a block of text.
It extracts every email address from a block of text, up to 50 KB. The results are deduplicated, lowercased, and syntax-validated, with a count per domain. It is for turning scraped pages, documents, or logs into a clean contact list.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I have a block of scraped text and need the email addresses in it
For example: Send up to 50 KB of text to get back a deduplicated list of addresses.
When: I need a clean contact list from a document or log
For example: Run the document through it to get lowercased, syntax-validated addresses.
When: I need to see which domains show up most in a text
For example: Read the per-domain count alongside the extracted addresses.
Returned zero emails from a page that exists. Honest empty result rather than a fabrication, but I paid a cent to learn nothing.
