Commodity spot price with provenance

Gives you a commodity's official spot price, with its source and freshness clearly labeled.
It returns a commodity's price, such as crude oil, along with its unit, the date it is as of, when it was observed, a freshness classification, and a quality label. It also names its underlying source, including the source's own series identifier, and a license tag for the data.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need a commodity's current official price
For example: Request its instrument code to get back the price and unit.
When: I need to know how fresh a price reading is
For example: Check its freshness class and observed-at timestamp.
When: I need to trace a price back to its original source
For example: Read the source name and series identifier.
When: I need to know if a price is directly observed or derived
For example: Check the derived flag.
