It looks up the latest SEC EDGAR filings for a US-listed company by stock ticker or CIK, resolving a ticker to its CIK through SEC's own index. It covers 10-K annual reports, 10-Q quarterly reports, and 8-K material-event filings, sourced live from data.sec.gov. It returns the parsed filing with the company, the form type, and its dated items.
