Call it for a crypto asset and it returns two things: an estimated liquidation cluster map, modeled from open interest and leverage bands at 5x, 10x, 25x, and 50x, and real recent liquidation prints pulled from OKX's public API. The cluster map is explicitly a model, not confirmed orders, and the response says so. It covers BTC, ETH, SOL, and 14 other listed assets. It is for traders watching for squeeze risk in a specific asset.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need an estimate of where crypto liquidations could cluster by leverage level
For example: Read the cluster_map's long_clusters and short_clusters, broken out by 5x, 10x, 25x, and 50x leverage.
When: I need real liquidation prints, not just a model
For example: Read the recent_prints list, sourced from OKX's public API, for actual liquidation events.
