It returns a one-time niche gap analysis: a list of categories, each with an opportunity score and a signal describing supply and demand, such as proven demand with few providers. You can set how many top categories to return.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to find categories with strong demand but few providers
For example: Call it and read categories whose signal shows open demand with few providers.
When: I want to rank categories by opportunity, not browse them all
For example: Read the opportunity_score field to rank the returned categories.
When: I only need the top few categories, not the full list
For example: Set the top query parameter to limit how many categories come back.
