Gives you a stock's latest quote, daily OHLC, and volume, for one ticker.
It returns current stock market data for one ticker: the latest available quote, the day's open, high, low, and close values, and volume. The data comes from Yahoo Finance's chart feed.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need a stock's current price
For example: Pass the ticker and read back the latest quote.
When: I need the day's trading range, not just the current price
For example: Read the OHLC fields in the response.
When: I need to know how much a stock traded today
For example: Read the volume field in the response.
