Tells you if a website is up and how it responded.
It checks a URL's status: whether it is reachable, its HTTP status code, the response latency in milliseconds, the number of redirects, the final URL, and any connection or TLS error. It is a lightweight uptime probe and dead-link checker for monitoring and link validation.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need to know if a website is currently up
For example: Check the URL to get a reachable/unreachable status and code.
When: I need to find dead links in a list
For example: Check each URL and flag the ones that fail or error.
When: I need to know how slow a site responds
For example: Read the response latency returned with the check.
When: I need to know if a URL redirects before landing somewhere
For example: Read the redirect count and final URL from the check.
