It returns crypto market data in one batched call: price, market cap, market-cap rank, 24-hour volume, high, low, and change, circulating, total, and max supply, and all-time-high with its date. It covers BTC, ETH, SOL, and more than 17 other major coins by ticker, sourced from CoinGecko. It includes market cap, which the source says most stock-data APIs' crypto tickers leave null.
WHEN TO USE THIS
When: I need full market data for several major coins in one request, not one call per coin
For example: Call it once and read the batched data for BTC, ETH, SOL, and the other covered coins.
When: I need a coin's market cap, not just its price
For example: Read the market cap and market-cap rank fields for that coin.
When: I need to know a coin's all-time high and when it happened
For example: Read the all-time-high field and its date.
